The TR-16 video transformer (balun) has been designed for transmission of video signals from 16 cameras via typical twisted pair cables (UTP), or via one 20-pair cable. It can cooperate with video transformers (baluns) TR-1M M16653, TR-1Q M16651, TR-1ECO M16652, or TR-4P M1667. The device matches the impedance of coaxial line (75 ohm) to the impedance of balanced line, ensuring transmission up to 400 meters.
The pairs of wires can be connected with standard RJ-45 connectors, or screw down to the terminals placed under the case. The transformer is a passive piece of equipment so it does not need any power supply. A complete transmission line needs two such devices (on both ends).
