ULTIAIR 415SB has been designed for HotSpots operating in 2.4GHz band

Thanks to 300MHz processor and 64MB RAM the device is characterized by short delays and high throughput. It can be managed via WinBox utility or telnet. The device operates in unlicensed 2.4GHz band - no special permissions are needed. It can operate as client or base station, as well as a point-to-point node (bridge mode).
The RouterBoard with Mikrotik level 4 system has been put in outdoor housing of IP 66 class, which guarantees full protection against adverse weather conditions and corrosive environments (industry).
All ULTAIR devices include a complete set of accessories needed for installation on a mast or wall.
They are powered from the included power supply, with PoE adapter.

HotSpots enable the users of handhelds with 802.11b/g wireless connectivity to get access to the Internet in public space. Such solutions are very popular in city centers, train and bus stations, shopping molls etc.
The basic component of any HotSpot is Access Point - the device that bridges the wireless and wired network.
Advantages of HotSpot based on ULTIAIR 415SB N2335:

Example application
This ULTIAIR device enables data transmission via GSM network. Its USB interface allows to connect a GSM/3G modem. Such a solution is ideal for Internet connectivity in remote places, far from cities. An example is IP video monitoring system on a distant construction site or transmission of telemetry data.
