The modulator has 6 audio/video inputs and one RF output (with all six channels combined). Each output channel can be selected from the whole TV band (ch. 1-69, S1-S38), with 5.5 or 6.5 MHz sound subcarrier (B/G or D/K standards). The modulator is mainly used for distribution of CCTV images within antenna systems.
In SMATV/MATV systems the modulator has to cooperate with ZG-401/601 channel amplifiers (ordered for the operating channels). The amplifiers eliminate interferences and adjust the signal levels to the distribution network.
