Golden Interstar GI-S770 CR Xpeed is the most advanced DVB receiver, capable of receiving FTA and encoded programs from any satellite. It is possible thanks to the newest NEC processor. This model has been equipped with universal card reader (CR), so it can be used by everyone looking for the best quality of picture and sound. For example, in Poland it is perfect choice for Cyfra+ subscribers who can directly put the smart card into the slot, check the validity term, and refresh (via satellite) their access rights for the next term.

There are prepared lists of programs (some of them in "Favorites" - e.g. the mentioned above platform Cyfra+) which can be freely changed by the user.

The features of the receiver which are not available at the moment in other products:

• hardware solution of video component output (YPbPr) for connecting modern LCD and plasma televisions, guarantying best possible image quality
• USB interface allowing: update of software, channel lists, browsing JPEG pictures, playing mp3 files
• Instant Replay function, allowing to repeat the last 20-30 seconds of the broadcast (e.g. the goal during a match)
• PIP function enabling the user to watch two channels simultaneously (from one transponder), freely divided and located on the screen
• automatic adjustment of the picture to the aspect ratio of TV screen (4:3 mixed oraz 16:9 mixed), considering different formats of broadcast channels
• 256MB of DDR for the user - for pictures, PIP and other functions

As an example of easy operation of Xpeed receiver there can be given exchange of software. Up to now, the next versions of software had to be loaded to a receiver with use of special program (loader), using RS 232 cable and a PC. Xpeed receivers are equipped with USB port, which simplifies such a procedure to:

• Downloading the file from WWW
• Unpacking and transferring it to USB memory device (pendrive)
• Putting the USB device into USB port in the receiver

The receiver will automatically detect and display the file - the user is only to select the file and press OK. After ca. 45 seconds the receiver has the newest software on board. Identical procedure is needed for copying ready-to-use list of satellite channels, also available on the WWW.

USB interface can also be used for browsing JPEG pictures from any connected USB memory device. After connecting the device the user is to press OK and then F1. There will be available list of pictures that can be displayed independently or one by one.
Using SPDiF connection the user can enjoy perfect digital sound.
