Aphelion 600AG contains two independent transceivers. It has been specially designed for building IP CCTV installations and other highly efficient IP networks requiring QoS guarantee, such as VoIP telephony. The main features include short delay time and wide bandwidth. The device can be used for creating MESH networks with Hot-Spot and Hot-Zone functions, efficient trunks with intelligent load balancing between two antennas, and backup links. The device is fully compatible with 500AG N2411 and 3300AG models which, working together with the 600AG, make efficient wireless links.
The management functions are performed in text mode via SSH console (with data encryption).
The AP operates in unlicensed bands (2.4 & 5 GHz), which allows a wide range of applications, usually in access networks for client devices. It has been equipped with outdoor housing compliant with IP67 degree of protection against adverse environmental conditions, including those of industrial environment.

The set includes accessories for mounting the device on a mast or a wall. The device may be powered via the included special 30m Cat-5 cable terminated with MIL-C-5015 (IP68) connector (the end connected to the device) and RJ-45 connector (the other end).
The Aphelion 600AG can be managed via LAN port or RS-232 interface (2m patch cable included).
The device has to be properly grounded.

Thanks to short delay times and wide bandwidth the Aphelion devices are especially useful in video surveillance systems. The design incorporates features indispensable for operation in a chain of units, which allows to transmit the video signals from distant locations to the monitoring center.

TRUNKING

(LINK AGGREGATION)

Unique function of 600AG devices allowing to create TRUNK connections thanks to parallel work of the wireless modules.

ONE-WAY TRANSMISSION

In this mode every transceiver operates only as the receiver or the transmitter - it improves the overall efficiency of the whole unit.

INTELLIGENT LOAD BALANCING

Parallel work of the transceivers as a one link - the device ensures equal load of the both physical transmission channels

BACKUP LINK

In this mode only one transceiver is normally active. The second one is switched on only if there are problems with connectivity. It ensures a high reliability of the system.
