The ATR-1 receiver cooperates with ADT-1 transmitter. The set ("UTP transceiver") allows to transmit video, audio and data (e.g. RS-485) over longer distances (up to 2000m), via typical twisted pair cable (UTP/FTP/STP - category 5). The installer should pay attention to connecting the appropriate leads to the correct terminals: (+) to (+) and (-) to (-).
The receiver can also cooperate with passive video transformers used for long-range video transmission via twisted pair cables.

The device has been equipped with two LEDs:
- red - POWER ON
- green - video signal
Description of control elements (rear panel):
- Brightness - adjustment of output signal level
- Sharpness - contrast correction.
