The amplifier is designed for first IF amplification in networks build up with 5-input multiswitches. SA-501 used in MS553 R70553 and MS554 R70554 multiswitch cascades, allows for connecting up to 80 subscribers. It is used also for terrestrial TV signals (push-pull amplifier), and delivers power supply to LNBs. Its SMPS power supply is equipped with overload protection.
