The CA-313 amplifier is used to amplify and distribute TV and FM radio signals. It is a brand-name device designed for use in small and medium-size community installations (MATV systems). CA-313 is equipped with five band inputs, which make it a very useful amplifier for applying several antennas receiving signals from different directions. The employed in this model input partition enables better equalization of signal levels.
Installation and security notes
The amplifier is fed from its internal stabilized power supply, which is powered directly from the mains. It is not designed for use in open spaces. It cannot be installed in wet conditions or near heaters and similar equipment. The unit requires natural ventilation, so it must not be covered by any objects. It ought not to be connected to the mains until all connections within an antenna installation have been properly made. The amplifier has the option of feeding preamplifiers with 12V voltage and maximum current of 50 mA through the UHF inputs. Preamplifier's feeding is switched on automatically as soon as the preamp is detected.
