The lens enables the installer/user to set focal length from 3.3 to 8.0mm. Adjustment of this parameter allows quick correction of viewing angle. In the case of cameras equipped with 1/3" image sensors, the angle can be changed within 77 to 35 degrees (horizontally). The lens also has manually-adjustable iris.
An important advantage of the lens is the quality of moving components for adjusting focal length, diaphragm, focus. They allow precise setting of the image under all conditions, which is especially important feature for installers.
TVR3314 M2301 has been used for video surveillance of The Statue of Liberty in New York City.
