Distinguishing features:

CAM 508 uses the highest-quality 1/3'' CCD Super HAD II from SONY, which is an improved version of the SONY CCD Super HAD sensor. SONY Super HAD II sensor is characterized by a considerable improvement in image quality over its predecessor. It is mainly better color and brightness reproduction of the scene in low-light conditions. Below there are images from cameras with the two types of the sensors.

High quality SONY sensor is the basis for excellent parameters of the camera (resolution: 550 TVL; sensitivity: 0.01 lx), making it a top model in this range. The camera comes with built-in lens with adjustable focal length from 2.8 to 12 mm, which is very suitable for setting optimum field of view. The viewing angle can be changed from 87^o to 16^o . The camera produces a natural-color rendition of the original scene and, thanks to a high resolution of the video (550 TVL), it is possible to distinguish fine details. The camera works very well in difficult lighting conditions - its high sensitivity ensures good color images without a "snow".

The camera can be mounted either on ceiling or wall and allows to hide the cables. The camera is dedicated for indoor applications. It is equipped with coaxial cable with a standard BNC connector (video) and power connector (2.1/5.5).
