Access Point WX-7800A of SparkLan can operate in all three 802.11a/b/g standards, having two separate radio transceivers. Apart from regular AP operation, it can work as wireless client and repeater. In AP mode (WDS) it is possible to combine the device with next 4 AP.

One of the two modules uses 2.4 GHz frequency band and supports both 802.11b and 802.11g standards, which offers up to 11Mbps and 54Mbps respectively. It can also use Atheros Super AG mode enabling 108 Mbps throughput. The other module works under IEEE802.11 standard in 5 GHz band, also up to 108Mbps.

Similar devices are sold as Tonze AW-6660 or TrendNet TEW-510APB, having firmware seemingly compatible with WX-7800A, but Dipol company don't take responsibility for using other firmware than available at SparkLan web site.
