The camera is fully compatible with ULTISYSTEM.
- is a unique solution in the world, allowing to integrate local analog CCTV systems with city surveillance based on wired, wireless, and fiber-optic networks. The data is recorded locally on ULTIMAX DVRs and is accessible (in the scope set by the administrator) through IP network. The operator of the city video surveillance system can watch and record the images from analog, IP, and megapixel cameras. The system supports ULTIMAX DVRs and majority of video servers and IP cameras (including megapixel devices) available in the market.

ULTICAM DS-2CD892PF comes with 1/3" SONY Super HAD CCD sensor. The sensor provides images with resolution of 535 lines and features high sensitivity - 0.1 lx. The camera can cooperate with AI lens (C/CS mount).
ULTICAM D535 utilizes H.264 compression providing video of similar quality like MPEG-4 (SP, ASP) or MJPEG, but at substantially lower bitrates than those standards, saving available disk capacity of the NVR and bandwidth of the network. The images can be forwarded with 4CIF resolution at 25 fps (PAL).
Every ULTICAM camera includes "Net Video Application Software" - "ULTIMAX Client" - advanced NVR application enabling the user to manage all ULTISYSTEM devices.
The camera provides advanced settings of remote access.
Aside from resolution and frame rate, the user can set:
- image quality,
- kind of frame,
- type of stream,,
- bitrate parameters,
- repeatability of "I" frames,
- maximum bitrate
The maximum bitrate, aside from preset values, can be set freely, up to 8 Mbps.
Configuration of the device is performed via Internet browser or with the included ULTIMAX client software. The software allows to control PTZ functions.

The camera has been equipped with the following connectors/interfaces:

The camera can cooperate with Pan-Tilt devices that are controlled through the RS485 interface. There are over 80 PTZ protocols available. The built-in hardware motion detection enables the operator to define monitored areas and sensitivity.
Any alarm can generate:
- OSD info
- alarm sound
- action of alarm output
The camera is based on RTOS Linux. It provides TCP/IP, UDP, RTP, Multicast,and PPPoE protocols. The camera utilizes NAS technology - direct streaming to Network Attached Storage.
