The broadband amplifier AWS-1244 has been designed for use in TV/FM antenna installations in homes and buildings. In the case of individual installations, the signals from band antennas have to be first combined in a diplexer. The amplifier passes DC voltage (12V) for supplying preamplifier/s. To use this option it is needed to set the jumper (it is shown in enclosed instructions).
The set includes AC/DC adapter with regulated 12V 250mA output, with 3.5 jack plug. There is also possibility of powering the amplifier through its output, using RF/DC separator (e.g. C0397) together with the included AC/DC adapter.
Notice: in this case it is necessary to calculate the current capacity of power supply taking into consideration preamplifier(s). The AWS-124x series includes 1-, 2-, 3- and 4-out versions. In comparison to its predecessor, there has been changed the way of gain adjustment - it is now made after the first stage of amplification - instead of the input. It has considerably improved noise parameters of the latest series.
The AWS-124x amplifiers are put into Zn-Al cast housings that guarantee excellent shielding effectiveness and good look. The amplifiers are not prepared for outdoor operation or in places with high humidity.
