The PD614V IP dome camera uses 1/3" 2MP Progressive Scan CMOS image sensor. Three independently configurable video streams (with H.264 or MJPEG compression) allow for the optimal configuration of channels for recording them on a hard drive and remote viewing and/or recording the video via the Internet, depending on the available bandwidth.
Two-way audio enables video conferencing with other users of Pixord cameras in the world, or an application for surveillance purposes (subject to national laws). Advanced motion detection can trigger automatic upload of the video to an FTP server, onto the SD card put into the dedicated slot, sending still images to an email address.
The camera supports RTSP protocol, which enables the owner to download the stream via Quicktime or VLC player in order to distribute it to multiple users.
