- is a unique solution in the world, allowing to integrate local analog CCTV systems with city surveillance based on wired, wireless, and fiber-optic networks. The data is recorded locally on ULTIMAX DVRs and is accessible (in the scope set by the administrator) through IP network. The operator of the city video surveillance system can watch and record the images from analog, IP, and megapixel cameras. The system supports ULTIMAX DVRs and majority of video servers and IP cameras (including megapixel devices) available in the market.

High speed IP camera CAM-6621 from ACTi belongs to the new family of devices featuring very good compression algorithms and transmission parameters. It has been equipped with 1/4'' Sony Progressive image sensor that enables operation even in very low lighting. This model is Wide Dynamic Range camera, which means precise images in challenging lighting conditions.
Pan/Tilt mechanism allows for quick rotation with angular speed up to 400º/s, with 0.225º resolution. Combining it with powerful optical zoom, the operator gets ideal tool for monitoring a vast area. The housing has been made according to IP66 standard, which enables operation even in very tough weather conditions.
Similarly to any ACTi devices, the image is compressed to MPEG-4 ASP stream that makes possible to obtain high quality results with limited bandwidth. Transmission of D1 resolution image at 30 frames per second (NTSC) or 25 fps (PAL) can be performed simultaneously via two ports (LAN and WAN). Support of PPPoE allows for direct connection of the WAN port to ADSL modem.
One of advanced features of ACTi cameras is Digital Time Code Embedded. It means that the frames in MPEG-4 stream are marked with signature showing the time of registration. This function allows for precise location of interesting frames just according to the time. The next advantage of this solution is embedding the characteristic "watermark" - any attempts of changing once recorded material would be easily recognized.
This model of ACTi camera is controlled by the firmware update ver. 2.0 having smaller delays of transmitted images and supporting RTP (Real Time Protocol). However, the manufacturer retained the traditional user's interface - CAM-6621 has the same layout of the menu like any ACTi device. It enables the user of ACTi equipment "to know by heart" all configuration and managing functions of the whole family of quality devices.
