Digifort software can be enhanced by image analysis module effectively using the latest algorithms and processing power of modern processors, necessary to build into IP CCTV systems a number of "intelligent" functions. The Digifort Analytic module can perform powerful video analysis that makes the video monitoring system more efficient, helping operators to react to various events that could be missed.

The sub-modules included in the analysis package:
  • Object counting: the counting module can count different classes of objects (with different characteristics - classified according to the size, speed etc). The user can get reports for selected periods of time.
  • Left objects: the system can trigger an alarm when an object is left in any defined area.
  • Taken objects: the system can trigger an alarm when a marked object is being moved from its place.
  • Face detection: all captured faces can be filed in a database for further search and reporting.
  • Loitering: the system can trigger an alarm when a person, a car, an animal or other classified object is milling about in any defined area for longer than a set time.
  • Camera tampering: the system can trigger an alarm when a camera is attacked or manipulated, which is detected by the change of the scene due to camera movement, loss of focus, rapid change of brightness (due to blinding or covering attempts) etc., or even loss of signal. The software allows the administrator to set the sensitivity of tampering detection as percentage contribution of selected parameters, especially light changes (to eliminate false alarms).
  • Virtual barriers: the system can trigger an alarm after a virtual barrier has been crossed.
  • Speed alarms: the system can trigger an alarm when an object exceeds a set speed limit.
  • Stopped objects: the system can trigger an alarm when an object (car, person, animal or other classified item) has stopped in a specified area for longer than a set time.
  • Direction control: the system can trigger an alarm when an object enters or leaves a specified area.
  • Filter by object: the system can trigger an alarm after a classified object has just appeared in the scene (possible classes of objects: cars, people, animals etc.)
  • Camera shake correction (image stabilization): possibility of using algorithm that eliminates jitter and/or blur in the image from a camera which is affected by different kinds of vibration (from wind, heavy traffic etc).
  • Distributed processing: due to client-server architecture, the analytical processing can be effectively distributed among multiple servers. It allows for greater flexibility when the system is expanded.
  • 3D grid: images can be processed by adding a 3D grid. This grid can use metric units (meters) or US customary units.
  • Object classes registration: possibility of creating classes of objects that can be identified by size and/or speed.
  • Search and reporting: all events generated by the video analysis modules are recorded and the user can analyze the footage in the NVR system by searching for these events. The module allows to generate reports from any event in analytical formats Lines, Bars, Pizza. For the research and event reporting, the user can employ advanced filters such as Date & Time, Camera, Zone, Event type, Object type.
  • Live surveillance adds-on: live images can show the following information generated by the image analysis modules: defined virtual areas and lines, rectangles around objects, surface areas of objects (in square meters or US customary units), trajectories of moving objects, classification of objects, heights of objects, speeds of objects, counters of objects/events (which can be reset together or separately).
