MPEG-4 Video Transcoder: ACTi SED-3300
The transcoder SED-3300 from ACTi can provide high resolution video from MPEG-4 stream send via Ethernet network (LAN, WAN). The MPEG-4 stream from chosen source like IP camera, or ACTi video server, is decoded in real-time to high quality analog signal. This conversion enables connection of existing analog video devices, such as TV systems, monitors, switchers etc. to advanced systems based on IP protocol developed by ACTi.
The transcoder is supported by newest firmware (ver. 2.0), characterized by lower delay of transmitted images and implementation of RTP (Real Time Protocol). However, the manufacturer retained the traditional user's interface - SED-3300 has the same layout of the menu like any ACTi device. It enables the user of ACTi equipment "to know by heart" all configuration and managing functions of the whole family of quality devices.
