ZK-40/16 supplies electrical current, 40 VDC, to several camera stabilizers SK-40 M1831 over a standard CCTV cable YAP75-0.59/3.7+2x0.5 M6500.
The number of SK-40s depends on the distance separating cameras from the power supply and whether the cameras are equipped with thermostats. The ZK-40/16 is powered by 29 VAC / 2 A from its own independent power source (TTS-80 - 230 VAC / 29 VAC transformer). The ZK-40/16 power supply unit feeds the line with non-stabilized 40 VDC voltage which passes to the SK-40 M1831 stabilizers. Each stabilizer delivers stable 12 VDC voltage that is used for powering cameras, also with thermostats. The SK-40/16 power supply has internal fuse and LED power indicator.
On the assumption that a camera and thermostat current consumption is 250 mA and 500mA respectively, the power may be delivered over the following distances:
