ACD-2000Q video server from ACTi enables compression of four analog video channels into one MPEG-4 or MJPEG stream that can be transmitted via Ethernet networks (WAN,LAN). The user can simultaneously monitor all four channels or selected one, at D1 resolution.
Thanks to the included software, the users of this device can easily build digital remote surveillance system based on IP technology. The system will allow to monitor the area, record the video (and optionally - audio), control PTZ cameras, transmit audio (in both directions).
Furthermore, the products of ACTi Corporation are supported by dedicated WWW service enabling to download the newest versions of the software (firmware and managing programs), get answers to FAQs etc.
