Cascadable multiswitch, cooperating with end-of-line multiswitch R70952. The MS-951 multiswitch allows to add terrestrial VHF and UHF signals to SAT IF (950-2150 MHz, four combinations of polarizations from two satellites), and send the mixed signals with single coax to four satellite receivers. Switching of the signal from the satellites/polarizations is performed with ToneBurst or DiSEqC 2.0 control signal.
In larger multiswitch systems there are also used R70901 amplifiers. The MS-951 multiswitch has been equipped with switches (one for each subscriber) that enable owners of older sat receivers to choose satellite with 22 kHz control signal. The second (normal) position means that the signal will activate high band.
