ULTISYSTEM - integration of analog cameras and IP devices <br />into one system

- is a unique solution in the world, allowing to integrate local analog CCTV systems with city surveillance based on wired, wireless, and fiber-optic networks. The data is recorded locally on ULTIMAX DVRs and is accessible (in the scope set by the administrator) through IP network. The operator of the city video surveillance system can watch and record the images from analog, IP, and megapixel cameras. The system supports ULTIMAX DVRs and majority of video servers and IP cameras (including megapixel devices) available in the market.

Rugged dome camera ACTi CAM-7320 has been equipped with Sony's CCD Exview image sensor with 752 x 582 (PAL), or 768 x 494 (NTSC) active pixels, which ensures horizontal resolution of 540 TVL. The built-in mechanical IR filter allows day and night operation (0.05 lx at F1.2). The board lens enables the installer to adjust focal length from 3.8 - 9.5 mm, which is suitable for the majority of applications.

Apart from analog video output, the device has two Ethernet ports (LAN and WAN), allowing simultaneous transmission of video data in two networks. Another utilization of this feature is doubling the cables to ensure higher level of reliability of the system. MPEG-4 ASP compression enables transmission and recording of even DVD-quality images at comparatively low rates and without demanding disc space requirements. An interesting feature of the camera is bidirectional audio transmission, often used in modern CCTV systems.

Configuration, operation and control of ACTi cameras is a simple and well prepared set of procedures. For a system consisting of up to 16 devices, there may be used free software pack - Streaming Activator, a tool that allows full management over the monitoring system. There is also available server - client application. The producer also provides SDK utility that enables the installer/user to create a tailor-made system.
