The newest signal level meter MDM-2000 has been designed for measuring terrestrial, cable and closed-circuit TV signal parameters, both analog and digital. The device can also measure parameters of back-channel signals.

The meter may be used for measuring signals in several modes. Main features:
- Measurement of levels of video and sound carriers and their ratio.
- Measurement of carrier-to-noise ratio (C/N).
- Measurement of tilt of frequency characteristics (7 selectable channels (TILT).
- Advanced spectrum analyzer with the functions:
- - relative reference level,
- - quick change of graph scale,
- - SPAN - band spreading,
- - CENT - adjustment of central reference frequency,
- - PEAK - automatic search for maximum level.
- Possibility of listening to sound (AUDIO) - built-in AM/FM demodulator.
- Voltmeter (voltage of suppl. rechargeable battery and DC voltage in RF line).
- Possibility of correction - entered for particular channel.
- Illuminated graphic LCD display
