GAR-BG-DK-SAT subscriber outlet is a device designed for using within:
  • satellite master antenna television - SMATV
  • satellite antenna individual installation - SAII.
The outlet enables to connect:
  • TV-set or VCR / DVDR
  • FM receiver
  • SAT receiver
to the coaxial cable line carrying FM, terrestrial TV and satellite signals.

The adequate separation of the TV, R, SAT outputs is ensured by electronic components fitted inside the body.
Between SAT output and input there is transition of DC and LF current, which enables to power and control LNB situated on a dish.
Between TV and R outputs and inputs no DC current can flow.
In practice, the attenuation of TV and FM signals in the path between antennas and RF inputs of the receiving equipment is about 8-9 dB. In the areas that are situated at distances over several kilometers there may be needed preamplifiers, especially when the signals are distributed to more than one outlet.
In such cases - particularly when in certain building several to dozen or so subscriber outlets are to be employed - a suitable amplifier having corresponding to the demands amplification and maximum output level has to be chosen. Supposing that satellite receivers can be used in many houserooms, there is also the necessity of application of switching devices - multiswitches.
Housing made from high quality plastics.
