HSA001R6 R82320 is a dual band (terrestrial TV and SAT IF) amplifier with passive return path (65 MHz). It is therefore a universal device for strengthening terrestrial, cable, and satellite signals. Since the frequency range of the amplifier encompasses 87-862 MHz and 950-2400 MHz bands, it is an ideal device for any multiswitch system where the cable connecting a multiswitch output with an end outlet is very long.
An additional advantage of the device in installations with long cable runs is cable attenuation compensation (up to 7 dB for SAT IF band and up to 4 dB for terrestrial TV band). The maximum gain is 25 dB for the SAT IF band and 18 dB for the TV band. The actual gain can be smoothly adjusted (-10 dB and -15 dB respectively). The maximum output level for the SAT IF is 115 dBuV (EN50083-3), and for the TV band is 110 dBuV (DIN45004B). This allows to use the amplifier both in small installations, as well as larger SMATV systems.
The bandwidth of the return path is 5-65 MHz, the passive circuit attenuates the return signal by 4 dB. HSA001R6 amplifier is equipped with a parallel circuit enabling transmission of DC power (max 400 mA) and DiSEqC signals. It allows to place the amplifier either between the power supply and antenna (pre)amplifier or between the satellite receiver and DiSEqC switch.
