The tap is used in multiswitch installations to extend 9-cable systems (2x4 SAT + Terr. TV) into two subnetworks. The tap is equipped with DC pass switch that in "ON" position runs current through "H" lines to both branches. In "OFF" position it is possible only within one branch.
The tap is recommended for large, unsymmetrical multiswitch systems. Application of suitable taps allows to equalize levels in sub-networks.
