UTP Video Transmitter: TRN-1/400
Front view

The TRN-1/400 transmitter allows to power the camera with built-in thermostat and transmit the video signal by twisted pair cable (UTP, FTP etc). Video signal from the camera is put to the TRN-1/400 input, and transmitted via twisted pair cable to the TRO-4/400 M1670 or TRO-1/400 M1669 receiver. Both the transmitter and the receiver units adapt 75 ohm coaxial cable impedance to the impedance of twisted pair cable. They enable video signal transmission up to 400 meters.
The TRO-1/400 M1669 receiver supplies unstabilized voltage (max. 40V DC) to twisted pair cable, and the TRN-1/400 transmitter converts it into 12V DC stabilized voltage. It allows to power the camera and the thermostat. Assuming that the power consumption of the camera is 250mA, and the thermostat (TT-12E) needs 500mA, the voltage can be sent over the following distances:
LOAD MAXIMUM DISTANCE
AT -24V AC
MAXIMUM DISTANCE
AT -29V
1 camera 250mA 1080 meters 1600 meters
1 camera 250mA
+ thermostat 500mA
260 meters 500 meters
A video amplifier should be used for distances longer than 400m.
