The TR-1C transmitter / receiver (passive transformer) has been designed for transmitting video signal - from/to one video output/input - via twisted pair cable (UTP, FTP, STP). The shape of a longer BNC plug allows to use it even in the case of close-packed rows of BNC connectors. The device can be operated in either direction.
The transformer matches the impedance of coaxial line (75 ohm) to the impedance of symmetrical line (100 ohm), ensuring proper video transmission over distances up to 400m (category 5 cable).

The installer should pay attention to connecting the appropriate leads to the correct terminals: (+) to (+) and (-) to (-). Improper connection leads to interferences.
