The videoserver SED-2140 from ACTi Corporation allows for compression of analog video signal into MPEG-4 stream, and convenient on-line preview via Ethernet (WAN, LAN). It has been designed to meet demands for high quality reliable devices for streaming video in MPEG-4 system.
SED-2140 employs processor of Arm9 family. The video server enables manual or automatic control of frame rate depending on accessible transfer rate. This videoserver is equipped with alarm input/output and RS-232/422/485 ports (e.g. control of PTZ cameras). Additionally it supports bidirectional audio transmission.
