This antenna is designed for use in base stations working in locations with dense traffic in the 2.4GHz band - the antenna characteristics allow to reduce possible interferences.
The current version of Radius XP is a microstrip antenna (the older series was a resonance sector device). Thanks to the new solution, the antenna is now almost two times smaller than the previous model.
