The Iiyama E1980SD-B1 LCD monitor is perfect for CCTV applications (5:4 aspect ratio, VGA and DVI-D inputs for modern DVRs, native resolution of 1280*1024 pixels).

The use of widescreen monitors or monitors with physical resolutions not compatible with the image formats provided by DVRs definitely degrades the image quality (blur, distorted image proportions) and may hinder the identification of people, event analysis etc.

The E1980SD-B1 monitor has a 19" LCD-TFT matrix with aspect ratio of 5:4 and physical resolution of 1280x1024 pixels (it also supports lower resolutions). The monitor cooperates perfectly with DVRs, such as Atu, Trend 250, Hikvision, Signal, supporting their display modes. Its high dynamic contrast (1000:1) and 5 ms response time ensure clear and blur-free imaging fully exploiting the image quality offered by modern CCTV cameras and digital video recorders.

The monitor is equipped with analog D-Sub (VGA) and DVI-D inputs, so it can be connected to two devices (signal sources). The current source is selected by pressing front panel buttons or via OSD menu. The menu also allows adjustment of all picture parameters. Instead, auto mode option can automatically adjust the parameters to the input signal.

With the latest technology, the monitor in Power Management mode consumes only 0.5 W. In normal operation mode it needs 16 W.
The monitor can be hung on a wall with the use of the mount (VESA 100 x 100 mm).
