Thanks to 300MHz processor and 64MB RAM the device is characterized by short delays and high throughput. It can be managed via WinBox utility or telnet. The device operates in unlicensed 2.4GHz band - no special permissions are needed. It can operate as client or base station, as well as a point-to-point node (bridge mode).
The RouterBoard with Mikrotik level 4 system has been put in outdoor housing of IP 66 class, which guarantees full protection against adverse weather conditions and corrosive environments (industry).
They are powered from the included power supply, with PoE adapter.
