The megapixel camera ACTi KCM-5611 offers very high image quality even in low light, with a resolution of 2032 x 1920 pixels. KCM-5611 uses an innovative BSI technology (Backside Illumination), whereby the image sensor is able to capture a large amount of light even in low lighting conditions and provide a high quality picture. Thanks to this technology, the sensor captures about 30% more light compared to conventional CMOS sensors.
BSI technology is used, for example, in Apple iPhone 4, being one of the factors that ensured the success of the device in the international arena.

ACTi KCM-5111 allows the user to define up to 4 areas of interest (quad option). The video from each of these regions is streamed as an independent channel and can be treated as such by the cooperating NVR, including individually configured functions, e.g. motion detection. This way, the megapixel camera KCM-5111 can provide four different images in VGA resolution.
A very important feature of KCM-5611 camera is compatibility with all professional ACTi devices. It is ensured by the included NVR software for 16 channels. The camera also has other features of professional CCTV devices, like PoE, alarm input/outputs. H.264 codec, more efficient than MPEG-4 or JPEG, provides possibility to transmit and record high-resolution video streams without high bandwidth and disc space requirements.
