Multiswitches from MV series are dedicated for medium and bigger SMATV systems, however they can also be used in smaller installations.
The MV-524 R70724 multiswitch has been equipped with active terrestrial and satellite paths. The levels of DVB-T and satellite signals are set by dedicated switches. This solution assures greater stability than typical adjustments made with potentiometers.
The die-cast housing provides high screening efficiency and prevents penetration of interfering electromagnetic radiation into the unit. High output levels, RF correction and cable length compensation (groups of outputs with different output levels) allow for building large distribution systems with cable runs to individual subscribers up to 80 meters long.
The multiswitch can be powered remotely via Terra SA 51 R70501 amplifier for 5-input multiswitches, or locally from Terra PS182F R71465 power supply unit. Each of the power sources can supply a number of such multiswitches (one multiswitch consumes not more than 100 mA).
