View of the device
The adapter enables the user to power 8 network devices via Ethernet cable. The device has DC jack power input (2.1/5.5) that should be connected to a suitable DC power supply (12-28 V, with current capacity up to 11 A, depending on the connected network devices). Each port is protected with a diode which isolates it from other ports in the case of a short circuit. Application of the 8p PoE adapter allows for a better organization of the network by eliminating several separate power supplies and PoE adapters.
