Details
The TP-LINK CPE605 outdoor 150 Mbps AP has been designed mainly for Wireless Internet Service Providers (WISPs) who want to provide wireless data transmission services. The device can operate in "Access Point", "WISP", "AP Router","Client", or "Bridge" mode.
CPE605 has a weatherproof housing. Thanks to the high antenna gain of 23 dBi, high output power 23 dBm and high sensitivity of the radio module, the device enables the creation of long, efficient and stable wireless connections.

Key features
- Tx output power: 23dBm,
- Standard:802.11a/n,
- Directional antenna with 23 dBi gain,
- Weatherproof housing,
- Operation modes: AP , WISP, AP Router, Client, Bridge,
- PoE (up to 60 m through UTP),
- Easy mounting,
- Wireless transfer rate up to 150 Mbps (802.11n),
- Vertical or horizontal polarization,
- Layer 2 client isolation,
- Information on the current data transmission speed,
- Watchdog with PING support,
- Speed test,
- Remote management,
- Support for WEP, WPA/WPA2,WPA-PSK/WPA2-PSK.
The device allows for the protection of the transmitted data by protocols such as WEP, WPA / WPA2 and WPA-PSK / WPA2-PSK.
Some operation modes:
- WISP
The router in WISP mode allows user to connect the device to the wireless network of the Internet service provider (wireless interface as WAN), and then split the connection via a router to several computers with LAN ports.

WISP mode (Client Router)
- Point-to-Point
A typical point-to-point connection can be achieved by connecting a device operating in the Client mode, or by connecting devices working in Bridge mode. This connection enables data transmission in two directions between two locations.
