- Possibility of connecting an external antenna
- Modes of work: WISP Client Router/AP/Client/Repeater/Bridge/AP Router
Access point TL-WA5110G uses 802.11 b/g standard, providing many functions and modes of work: AP, AP Client, Repeater, Bridge (Point to Point, Point to Multipoint). The AP offers functions that are very useful for applications in small WLAN cells. WPA/WPA2, WPA-PSK/WPA2-PSK, TKIP/AES and MAC address filtering can ensure high security level. TL-WA5110G is especially effective as cheap APC device. Another advantage of the device is ability to connect an external antenna. User-friendly interface and simple setup will not cause problems even for novice users.
More professional users may utilize PoE, thanks to PoE ready feature. This feature allows to use single UTP/FTP cable both for data transmission and powering the device, which is much easier option for installing wireless network.
The device uses powerful wireless chipset (max. output power 400 mW) which allows to create long-range links.

Attention! In Poland and other countries of European Union, the maximum radiated power from the antenna (EIRP) in 2.4 GHz band cannot be higher than 100 mW (20 dBm). To operate the device in these countries, the user has to lower the output power (in software way or using suitable length of transmission cable - e.g. in the case of locating the antenna at a distance from the computer) so that the total power radiated from the antenna does not exceed 100 mW (20 dBm) EIRP.
