The NanoBeam M5 is an access point operating in the 802.11n MIMO 2x2 standard, in the 5 GHz band. Thanks to the use of unique solutions, the device offers performance unprecedented in such compact devices. The use of the InnerFeed solution allowed the antenna radiator to be integrated into the radio module. The housing made of UV-resistant plastic ensures resistance to even the harshest weather conditions. The access point has built-in surge protection.

Ubiquiti NanoBeam M5 can operate in Router or Bridge mode. Its wireless interface supports Access Point, Access Point WDS, Client, and Client WDS modes. The device is compatible with MikroTik RouterOS platform.
The device is compatible with the AirMax protocol, which allows eliminating the problem of hidden stations by assigning devices time slots (TDMA) in which collision-free transmission is possible. This allows maximum bandwidth to be used even with dozens of client stations connected to the Access Point. In addition, the included AirControl application allows the central management of up to one hundred devices.
The use of the mounting kit
The way of mounting offers the freedom of three-axis alignment. No screws are required for pole mounting (only a hose clamp), and only a single wall screw (not included) is needed for wall mounting.
