The R70511 amplifier is designed for use in SMATV systems based on 5-input multiswitches. It has four satellite inputs and DVB-T/DAB/FM (Terr.TV) input. Placed at the input of an SMATV system, the device amplifies and equalizes the signals before further distribution (four SAT IF signals - polarization-band pairs, and terrestrial signals). The device is used as an intermediate amplifier (powered via H lines from SA-51 amplifier) or input amplifier (powered from external power supply R71465).

Key features:
- amplification and equalization of four SAT IF signals (polarization-band pairs),
- amplification of DVB-T/DAB/FM signals,
- compensation of coaxial cable attenuation,
- power supply for other system components: LNBs, DVB-T preamplifiers, multiswitches, other amplifiers (after using R71465 power supply unit),
- die-cast housing guarantying high screening efficiency (class A).

Designing antenna systems with the use of free software from TERRA - SatNet application. The program allows to prepare the project in graphical form, to determine signal levels in all outlets and verify if they are compliant with standards, and to decide whether to use equalization function of the amplifiers. The program enables the user to archive the designs.
