The SA-91DL R70911 amplifier is designed for amplification of the first SAT IF and terrestrial DVB-T/Radio signals within SMATV systems built with 9-input multiswitches. It has 8 satellite inputs and DVB-T/Radio input and allows for equalization of the input signals. The device is used as interstage amplifier (powered via H lines from the SA-91L amplifier) or as input amplifier (powered from R71465 power supply).
• Amplification and equalization of SAT IF signals (8 polarization-band combinations)
• Amplification of DVB-T/Radio signals
• Blocking of LTE signals (signals above 790 MHz)
• Built-in compensation of the increased loss of signals at higher frequencies in the distribution cables
• Power supply for other system components (when used together with R71465 PSU): LNBs, multiswitches, DVB-T preamplifiers, other SAT amplifiers
• Die-cast housing guarantying high screening efficiency (class A)

Details

The SA-91DL R70911 amplifier is designed for amplification of the first SAT IF and terrestrial DVB-T/Radio signals within SMATV systems built with 9-input multiswitches. It has 8 satellite inputs and DVB-T/Radio input and allows for equalization of the input signals. The device is used as interstage amplifier (powered via H lines from the SA-91L amplifier) or as input amplifier (powered from R71465 power supply).
The SA-91DL R70911 amplifier has LTE filter for eliminating unwanted signals in 800 MHz band (791-862 MHz) coming from LTE services.
Key features
  • Amplification and equalization of SAT IF signals (8 polarization-band combinations)
  • Amplification of DVB-T/Radio signals
  • Blocking of LTE signals (signals above 790 MHz)
  • Built-in compensation of the increased loss of signals at higher frequencies in the distribution cables
  • Power supply for other system components (when used together with R71465 PSU): LNBs, multiswitches, DVB-T preamplifiers, other SAT amplifiers
  • Die-cast housing guarantying high screening efficiency (class A)
Thanks to the application of the SA-91L/91DL amplifiers, SMATV systems based on multiswitches can distribute signals to hundreds of outlets. The adjustment of the SAT IF and DVB-T (47-790 MHz) gain is made with dedicated switches. In comparison with potentiometers, this solution increases the stability of the adjustments. The die-cast housing provides high screening efficiency by preventing the penetration of interfering signals to the unit.

How to connect a Quatro LNB to Terra multiswitch

Descriptions of the satellite LNB outputs and the multiswitch inputs depend on their manufacturers. To avoid confusion, our movie illustrates the differences and clarifies the issue.

Designing SMATV systems with TERRA SatNet software

Designing antenna systems with the use of free software from TERRA - SatNet application. The program allows to prepare the project in graphical form, to determine signal levels in all outlets and verify if they are compliant with standards, and to decide whether to use equalization function of the amplifiers. The program enables the user to archive the designs.
