The E8278 monolithic angular BNC connector is made ​​of brass plated with nickel and is specially prepared for CAMSET/RG-59 cables. High precision ensures superior quality and professional look. The compression method of installation is very simple and guarantees good and stable connection for a long time.
The inner conductor of the cable inserted into the inlet is centered and stopped. A special element ensures proper contact, which eliminates interferences when the cable is moved.
The MASTER BNC 59 E8278 compression connector is intended for the following cables:
Distinguishing features
  • wide operating band,
  • connecting/disconnecting operations do not influence connection quality (can be even used in measurement equipment),
  • very low loss in the whole operating band,
  • perfect matching to the transmission line within the whole operating band,
  • simple and quick assembly: longitudinal compression,
  • properly compressed connection is highly resistant to break, due to dual compression rings,
  • matched to the cables of CAMSET family and RG-59 cables with inner conductor diameters from 0.55 to 0.80 mm,
  • many patented technologies.
The installation should be performed with the use of the E80078 compression tool.
To strip the CAMSET cable, we recommend to use the E8010 insulation stripper.
The E8278 connector can be used with any RG-59 cables with diameters of inner conductors from 0.55 to 0.80 mm.
The mounting of the connector is a quick and easy job:
  • prepare the end of the cable uncovering the inner conductor at the length of 8 +/-1.4 mm and the dielectric with braid at the length of 6.4 mm
  • fold back the braid over the cable sheath
  • slip the end of the cable into the connector
  • compress the connector onto the cable with the compression tool
