Demodulators provide audio and video output signals from any VHF, UHF, or CATV channels. They are used to change high frequency TV signals to baseband/low frequency video/audio signals. This unit is sold together with a remote control for easy operation and configuration of the device (channel programming and changing and memory settings). The device can easily cooperate with additional modulators for monitoring the areas where installation of additional wiring is hard or impossible but there is a need for an inexpensive and simple organization of a video transmission from several camera sources via a single cable.

Another application of this device involves receiving of regular CATV signals, especially needed in case of outdated TV-sets without full cable-range tuners, or lacking the number of programming positions.
