The AXON Multi Net Protector family devices are designed to protect devices connected to a 10/100/1000 Mbps Ethernet network from impulse surges. They work with modems, routers, network cards and all other Ethernet network elements that use a twisted-pair cable terminated with an RJ45 plug. They are multi-channel units dedicated to securing server rooms, local ICT networks and all systems based on multiple lines. The use of high-speed semiconductor elements in the unit eliminates the effects of impulse overvoltages between the lines of each pair of wires, and the energy of the overvoltages is dissipated to earth via the PE protective conductor. The 24-channel version of the AXON Multi Net Protector RACK 24 has sockets on the front and rear of the unit.
