The VC-BU breakout unit protects the window cut in an easy access cable (with a length of up to 80 mm) in order to branch the fibers from the cable (to up to 4 distribution tubes). Small size of the unit (118 x 50 x25 mm) enables installation in a very limited space. Its main openings are suitable for the following cables:
The fibers from the cable of easy access can be released through 4 independent holes with a diameter of 5 mm. In order to secure the fibers, they should be inserted into the 5 mm protective tube VC-TUB L7211. The unit does not have space for spare fibers or any splices - in this system the fibers go directly (through the tubes) to distribution or customer termination boxes.
The cover is dedicated for wall mounting in the place where the window has been cut out. It is used in indoor optical systems based on easy access fiber optic cables ideal for FTTH, FTTO and FTTD systems in all kinds of buildings.
