Application
AI-200 Amplifier is used as distributing device in small or private antenna installations, to ensure proper level of signal for multiple receivers. The amplifier works in 40 - 318 MHz and 470 - 862 MHz bands. Thanks to separate gain adjustment for VHF and UHF bands, the levels of signals can be equalized. This makes it easier to build installations using a single cable to distribute signals from several antennas (combined in a diplexer etc).
The amplifier can be used in some cable networks or collective installations. Due to the existence of a band gap, these are networks that do not use channels S20 - S38. The amplifier is recommended for use in situations where (without the amplifier) the signal level is sufficient to supply one receiver, but insufficient for several receivers. When the signal level is low, other Alcad amplifiers are recommended, e.g. CA-210 R90460, with the possibility of powering preamplifiers.
Security notice for amplifier users
The AI-200 amplifier is powered by a built-in stabilised power supply. It is not intended for outdoor operation. It must not be installed in high humidity conditions or near radiators or other heat sources. Ventilation is required. Due to the possibility of damage, do not connect the power supply until all connections are made correctly.
