The home amplifier AS038R65 from CabrioLine, manufactured by TERRA in EU, is intended for use in apartments with cable TV also providing Internet service, requiring return channel. It has four outputs that supply signals directly to terminal outlets deployed in a home/apartment.
The amplifier can be used in situations where the subscriber wants to split cable TV signal to two, three, or four outlets, without compromising signal level. Return channel connectivity is possible through the output No. 1. The output must be connected to the broadband cable modem (directly or via diplexer isolating data channels from the rest of the cable TV spectrum).
The maximum gain of the forward path is 23 dB, with reduction up to 16 dB. The amplifier implements passive return path (typ. -2 dB). The power consumption is very low, ca. 3 W.
The amplifier is intended for indoor use only.
