Application
CA-215 Amplifier is used as distributing device in small or private antenna installations, to ensure proper level of signal for multiple receivers. The amplifier works in 40 - 400 MHz and 470 - 862 MHz bands. Thanks to separate gain adjustment for VHF and UHF band, the levels can be set to fit the strength of the signals.
This facilitates the construction of antenna installations using a single cable to bring in signals from all antennas (after combining using a diplexer). Amplifiers can be used in some cable networks or community installations. Due to the existence of a band gap, these are networks that do not use channels S30 - S38. The amplifier is recommended for use in situations where the signal level is low. In addition, it is also possible to supply preamplifiers.
Security notice for amplifier users
The CA-215 amplifier is powered by a built-in stabilised power supply. It is not intended for outdoor operation. It must not be installed in high humidity conditions or near radiators or other heat sources. Ventilation is required. Due to the possibility of damage, do not connect the power supply until all connections have been made correctly. The CA-215 amplifier allows preamplifiers to be supplied with 12 V and a maximum current of 60 mA, allowing typical board preamplifiers to be used.
