The HSA001R6 R82320 is a satellite amplifier with an active terrestrial TV path equipped with a 65MHz passive return channel. It is therefore a universal device, which is used for amplifying satellite, terrestrial and cable TV. Due to the fact that the frequency range that can be fed to the input of the amplifier is 87-862 MHz and 950-2400 MHz, the amplifier can also be used in multiswitch installations, where the problem is too long cable connecting the output of the multiswitch with the terminal outlet.
An additional advantage of the device when used in installations with long cable runs is the built-in pre-correction of the cable attenuation characteristics of 7 dB for the IF band and 4 dB for the terrestrial TV band. The maximum gain is 25 dB for the IF band and 18 dB for the TV band. The gain value can be adjusted within a range of 10 and 15 dB for the above frequency ranges. The maximum output level for IF is 115 dBuV (EN50083-3) and 110 dBuV (DIN45004B) for terrestrial TV. This allows the amplifier to be used in both smaller installations and larger community networks.
The bandwidth for the return channel is 5-65 MHz, with this path being a passive path with 4dB attenuation. The HSA001R6 is equipped with a separate circuit carrying DC voltage and DiSEqC signal. It is therefore possible to place the amplifier both between the antenna feed and the terrestrial TV preamplifier (maximum 400mA), as well as the satellite receiver and DiSEqC switch.
