Details
The camera is part of the ECO series designed for a wide range of surveillance applications, regardless of the size of the system. The unit features basic, most commonly used functions, as well as advanced algorithms that enable human and vehicle detection during motion detection and intelligent events such as line crossing and intrusion detection. The available corridor mode allows the cameras to be used to monitor areas with large disparities, such as narrow and tall rooms.
The unit provides an excellent representation of the scene being monitored, enabling video recording at up to 4 MP resolution. In the absence of light, the built-in IR illuminator is activated which, combined with high sensitivity, works perfectly and guarantees adequate visibility even in difficult conditions.
Image viewing and full operation are possible using popular web browsers that support HTML5, such as Chrome, Firefox, Edge and Opera. It is recommended to install an add-on (downloadable after logging in to the camera), which improves performance during live viewing with H.265 compression.
The easy-to-use graphical interface allows quick configuration of all necessary parameters, even for novice users. Additional image-enhancing features such as digital noise reduction (2D, 3D-DNR), digital WDR and backlight compensation (BLC) allow the camera to perform perfectly in challenging conditions.

Intelligent Motion Detection
Intelligent motion detection analyses events to detect the presence of people or vehicles. This ensures that alarm notifications are precisely filtered and unnecessary alarms are blocked. This increases the performance of the entire system and reduces the number of false alarms reaching the user. Furthermore, recordings stored on the DVR can be easily searched for the presence of people or vehicles.
Intelligent image analysis
Like intelligent motion detection, the intelligent image analysis functions are based on deep learning algorithms, which enables accurate recognition of people and vehicles. This in turn significantly reduces false alarms caused by irrelevant objects. Recordings can be quickly filtered to find these specific objects.
The following detection functions are available:
- intrusion,
- crossing of a line,
- crossing of two lines,
- walking,
- driving against traffic.
In addition, a detection function is available for:
- face,
- human figure,
- vehicle.
For the detection function, it is possible to specify a minimum number of pixels and a probability index for the recognition of different objects. Object selection and mosaic blur can also be enabled
H.265 and H.265 Smart compression
Compression is a very important parameter proving the device advancement. The better the compression, the lower the bandwidth requirement with the same subjective quality. H.265 (HEVC - High Efficiency Video Coding) is currently the most efficient compression method. Compared to its predecessor (H.264), it reduces the data stream and the demand for disk capacity by half. Therefore, hard drives with a halved capacity can be used, or recordings can be stored for twice as long. Its improved version H.265 Smart has been optimized for use in CCTV monitoring systems. They allow for further reduction of data streams.

Privacy zones
Obscuring selected areas in the frame is an important element of surveillance systems. For this purpose, the privacy zones function has been introduced in the cameras. It allows certain parts of the camera field of view to be made invisible (masked). Examples of places that require this are: windows of buildings, toilets in school or prison bathrooms, etc. If these places were not masked, personnel with access to the monitoring equipment could violate the privacy of the monitored persons, thus breaking the applicable law.
PoE power supply
PoE (Power over Ethernet) is the name of the IEEE standard for powering network devices via twisted pair cable while transmitting data. It is possible to supply power to devices such as cameras, telephones, switches, access points, etc. The guaranteed transmission distance for power supply is 100 m. The two most popular standards are 802.03af, which guarantees a minimum power of 12.95 W for end devices, and 802.3at – power of 25.5 W.
