Details
The Protect C360 mobile camera is designed for vehicle video surveillance systems. The camera produces images at 1080p resolution in the AHD standard. The high sensitivity of the StarLight series CMOS sensor ensures that recordings are clear even in poor lighting conditions. The device’s fixed-focus lens provides a wide 100° field of view with very little distortion. By way of comparison, the human eye’s field of view is limited to 90°. When mounted on the outside of a vehicle, the camera can see the entire carriageway and the hard shoulder.
The camera has a spherical casing enabling rotation around its axis and some adjustment of the viewing direction (ca. 45o down/left/right, 15o up). The camera position is locked by 2 screws.
