Details
The purpose of the detector is to detect abnormal level of carbon monoxide (CO) in the air in the room and alert the users.
The DG-1 CO microprocessor-based digital gas detector is characterized by high reliability and low current consumption. Due to digital temperature compensation, it can operate within a wide temperature range. A concentration of carbon monoxide (CO) in the air above the threshold level triggers optical and acoustic alarm signals. The detectors are intended for applications in security systems.
When the gas concentration reaches the warning level, the NC contacts of the relay open and the alarm is signaled by sounds and LED blinking (LED flash and sound for 1 second, 1 second pause, and so on). The alarm is active for the whole duration of the increased gas concentration (the same applies to the relay). The reaction of the gas sensor to a decrease in the gas concentration is delayed, hence the alarm may continue a few minutes after the gas concentration has dropped below the warning level.
Due to the physical characteristics of carbon monoxide, the SATEL DG-1 CO detector should be mounted at the hight about 1.5 meter.
It is not recommended to install the detector in industrial environment.
